9 Circles of Hell (1988)

A Czechoslovakian doctor walks through the debris of a deserted Central Market in Phnom Penh, 1979, immediately after Pol Pot's fall - winding up an abandoned grandfather clock amid piles of shoes, left standing since the city's evacuation four years earlier. It's a scene convincing enough to pass for genuine footage of the city's liberation, though the Czechoslovakian-Cambodian production was actually shot shortly after Vietnamese occupation began.
