About this event

An elite police unit walks into a rundown apartment block controlled by a ruthless crime lord - and walks straight into a brutal fight for survival. That's the setup for The Raid, directed by Gareth Evans and starring Iko Uwais, widely considered one of the greatest action films ever made. Built around breathtaking pencak silat choreography, the Indonesian martial art at its core, the film reshaped action cinema on release and continues to influence filmmakers more than a decade later - relentless, inventive and astonishingly kinetic. Empire called it "one of the best action movies ever made", while The New York Times praised its intense, breathless energy. Free entry & popcorn - arrive early for sofa, bed, or beanbag seating.
