About this event

Dr. Ottara Kem never spoke of his Cambodian background - until, on his deathbed, he asked to be buried in the homeland he'd kept silent about for so long. That request sends his filmmaker daughter Marina Kem on an intense, poetic search for the father she barely knew, a man made strange to her twice over: by his hidden origins, and by his silence. Bonne Nuit Papa (2014, 101 min) documents that journey of conciliation, connection and farewell. English language version. Free entrance.
