We live surrounded by more moving images than ever, yet the theaters that gave rise to the art form face a real existential question - what happens to storytelling, community and culture if the movie theater simply disappears, replaced by isolated viewing fragmented across algorithms and screens? This panel brings together Lim Kah Wai, Davy Chou and Polen Ly, moderated by Fujita Sayana, to dig into the loss of the communal gaze, the fight for independent screens to survive, and what it means to make films as the very architecture of exhibition shifts beneath the industry's feet.
