Vimean's a high-achieving kid set to enter grade 10 at a good school in Siem Reap — until a sudden shift in his family's situation left his single mum unable to cover tuition, putting a return to state school on the table through no fault of his own. In response, a group of musical friends is throwing a fundraiser to keep him learning, complete with a raffle for a motorbike and other prizes donated by businesses across Phnom Penh and Kampot, with tickets available through Uniga, Kon Bar, Boran House and more. The full lineup's still coming together, but expect out-of-town guests and a reunion of familiar faces from Showbox's glory days.
