About this event

itonami is launching in Phnom Penh, and it’s starting with a question. The new cultural studio is built for people who want to make something, try something, or just show up and see what happens - artists, organizers, idea-havers, or anyone who loves music and meeting strangers. Each edition brings special guests and one question for the room to answer, with the hope that whatever comes out of it (friendships, collaborations, ideas) keeps going after the night ends. For the first edition, that question is: “What is one problem in your everyday life you can no longer ignore?” Open Labs cards at the venue let you scan a QR code and answer on the spot - no prep needed, nothing to solve, just something real from your own life. The answers feed into Open Labs, an itonami initiative collecting everyday problems worth exploring together. Live music comes from Matsumura Fishworks - Mute Speaker (Rob) building beats in real time, Ramsey Judson rapping over them, funky and completely original. It’s the duo organizer Take had in mind from the start. The whole thing happens on Sundown Social Club’s rooftop, with a breeze, good drinks, and the city below.
