About this event

Ten years after leaving for America, Sophorn returns to Phnom Penh one evening to see her older sister Srey - now living worlds apart, with Sophorn married to a wealthy American and Srey working as a simple seamstress alongside Vibol, the man she loves. As old pain, secret wishes and anger surface, their long-awaited reunion quickly spirals into chaos. That's the premise of Marlon, a bold, free adaptation of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire written and directed by French filmmaker Lionel Delplanque, best known for his short film It's Just a Game, created with The Last Stage. Three outstanding Last Stage actors - Von Lyer, Kaing Sok Heng, and Tep Borey - lead this intense, wild and entertaining production. 25 September / 2, 3, 4 October 2026 7:30 PM The Last Stage Aquation Theatre Ticket price: $10 per person ($7.5 for students)
