About this event

RE.BIRTH (2011, 120 min) tracks Cambodia’s cultural revival in the decades after the Khmer Rouge genocide of 1975-79, built as a compilation of historical shorts on the reopening of the Royal University of Fine Arts and the rise of Cambodia’s contemporary art scene in the early 2000s. Video art pieces and early interviews with the artists who shaped that scene, both at home and internationally, round out the collection. English subtitles | Free entrance
