"Sirat" (2025)

A search through the desert becomes something far stranger than a missing-person story. "Sirāt" follows a father and son into the vast landscapes of Morocco, tracing the path of a daughter who disappeared into the world of underground raves. But director Óliver Laxe is less interested in answers than atmosphere, creating a film that drifts between road movie, spiritual journey, and apocalypse, leaving much unsaid while pulling the audience deeper into its hypnotic rhythm.
