Human trafficking in Cambodia - a country that serves as source, transit and destination in this global crisis - is the focus of a powerful film night hosted by Speak Out Sisters (SOS), the country's first nationwide initiative challenging perceptions of sexual gender-based violence. A curated selection of short films and documentaries brings the realities faced by victims into view, tracing their paths toward recovery alongside the hidden systems behind an industry worth billions annually. Cambodian filmmaker and activist Sao Sopheak and German documentarian Nico Mesterharm present the evening, guiding discussion and reflection throughout.
