A belief among some Asian men that sex with a virgin girl brings health and luck fuels a grim demand that feeds directly into Cambodia's sex industry. UK filmmaker Matthew Watson documents every side of that nightmare in The Virginity Trade (2009, 60 min), gathering interviews with the men who purchase girls' virginity alongside politicians, police, NGO experts and the victims themselves.
